SCF Arizona’s Safety Pays
One way SCF Arizona promotes workplace safety is
through its Association Safety Program. Founded in
1969 this program helps SCF loss control consultants
and association coordinators educate and work more
closely with policyholders. A tool they have
is a quarterly newsletter, Safety Pays, which
includes:
• Safety-related stories with tips on how
businesses can implement them
• Explanations on what businesses can do to
cut workers’ compensation insurance costs
• Introductions of SCF programs and incentives that
can help businesses save on workers’ compensation
costs
• Offers to assist businesses in conducting
safety assessments of their jobsites
