10 Tips for Completing Your Career Profile
1. Complete all areas of the profile. Providing comprehensive responses gives us the best view of your skills, knowledge and abilities. Your responses should be detailed, but concise. It is important to respond in all areas where one is requested. Please refrain from stating "see resume" as a response.
2. Use the "Parse" feature to enter information. This feature allows you to copy and paste from your resume into the appropriate text box, and populates key information directly into your profile. This saves typing time and creates an additional resource for us in viewing your experience and background.
3. Attach your resume. Upload a copy of your formatted resume to your profile. You also may attach documents such as a cover letter, references or copies of certifications. Up to five documents may be attached.
4. Save your information. Don't let that hard work go to waste if your computer crashes or your internet connection drops.
5. Complete the application assessment. Assessments are designed to measure your skills and knowledge of the position for which you are applying.
6. Update your profile. Making sure your contact information and profile data is accurate gives us the best picture of your abilities.
7. Check your application status. Use this feature to see where you are in the recruiting process.
8. Adjust your e-mail security settings. Be sure that e-mail from SCF doesn't accidentally end up in your bulk folder by allowing mail from scfaz.com.
9. Keep a record of your login information. Record the e-mail you used to create your profile, your user ID, password and the answer to your secret question. This information is unique to each user and SCF Arizona cannot access it.
