Locating a Healthcare Provider
When you need a healthcare provider, look first
to the Preferred
Connection Network. The PCN is a workers’ compensation PPO of
hospitals, occupational medicine clinics, urgent
care facilities, physicians, physical medicine
providers and ancillary service providers. These
providers are experienced in dealing with workplace
injuries and provide excellent care.
Under Arizona law, employers may direct their
injured workers in writing to a physician or clinic
of the employer’s choice on a one-time basis. This
is usually done at the time of the first office
visit. However, injured workers do have the right to
choose their treating physician. If you do not know
which physician to choose or are having difficultly
locating a physician that accepts workers’
compensation patients, one resource is the
Preferred
Connection Network. All PCN members accept
workers’ compensation patients.
At the PCN website, you can
search for healthcare providers and physicians by
name, specialty and location.
